Laurentian Mountains Kid friendly Vacations

Very nice stay in September 2026.

We enjoyed our visit to Old Quebec City and hope to return soon. The trip was made even more enjoyable by our stay at the Hotel des Coutellier. We were always greeted by friendly staff, especially the folks at the front desk, who were not only friendly and helpful, but directed us to many of the attractions we wanted to see by marking a travel map they had at the front desk. The accommodations were great and the breakfasts delivered to the room each morning were sufficient enough for us to keep half for a quick, light lunch. The Hotel is positioned near enough to the attractions in Old Quebec City, that we were easily in the center of the action with a 10 - 15 minute walk. The parking lot, just across the street from the hotel, was very easy to enter and exit. Very convenient. We are looking forward to our next stay at the Hotel des Coutellier.

Bien situé, excellent service de la part de l'équipe des lofts, mais malheureusement à notre arriver ce n'était pas propre. Mais après courriels et téléphone nous avons été déplacer au loft Dorchester qui est beaucoup mieux. Merci à Mila qui nous à aidés. Et aussi les photos presenter sur le site de hotel.com sont très trompeuses pour ne pas dire inexactes.

Bring your slippers or thick warm socks in cool and cold weather since there is no carpeting on the floors. Apartment is located in the old Quebec City in nice central location in the old city. Access to drop off luggage at apartment can be limited due to street construction activity in the area. Google maps are incorrect due to streets that are no longer open to vehicles. 24 hour parking lot is located on main drag about 5 blocks away. For this apartment check-in and documentation is submitted electronically online at website link sent by vendor. They will e-mail access code on day of check-in since there is no front desk. There is also a buzzer at entrance to apartment that can be used to communicate if you have issue upon arrival. Plenty of local restaurants in the area. Grocery stores and pharmacies are a bit of a walk from the apartment so bring a backpack or reusable shopping bags.

Perfect for a small family getaway with older kids. Common area where family can talk together. Enjoyed the apartment feel rather than a hotel. In a great location close to restaurants and shops.

Such a spacious, quiet comfortable room. Staff is very accommodating.
