Book this resort ! Yes it is expensive but the experience is first class! The staff are amazing and so very attentive, bar staff were amazing and attentive, food was top notch and our beach front villa amazing! Housekeeping came twice a day and really did a phenomenal job! Cauayan is top notch from pick up in El Nido to the return to El Nido . Spa ladies were great and our 2 hour massages so amazing! Resort offers free kayaking and mask and snorkels to use during your stay!

Vellago Resort in El Nido was the highlight of our trip to Palawan. From the moment we arrived, the staff treated us like a king and queen. Everyone was warm, genuinely friendly, and always ready to help with a smile. You can tell they truly care about making every guest feel special. The resort is spotless. Every corner, from the rooms to the common areas, was impeccably clean, and it has every amenity you could want for a relaxing stay. Our room was the real showstopper: it's built right into the mountainside, blending beautifully with the natural surroundings. It looks stunning and feels like a private hideaway in the middle of a mountain. Parts of the resort had been damaged by a recent storm, and the team was busy with remodeling and repairs during our stay, yet everything was still kept beautifully. The resort offered the peace and quiet we were hoping for. It's the perfect place to unwind, reconnect, and enjoy the beauty of El Nido. We can't recommend Vellago highly enough and would love to come back! A must-do experience is the private island-hopping tour. We visited six islands, kayaking in breathtaking lagoons, and relaxed and have lunch set up right on the beach on some of the most beautiful beaches we've ever seen. The water was crystal clear and every stop felt more amazing than the last. Our captain and the tour guide were wonderful: knowledgeable, fun, and attentive, and they made the whole day unforgettable. Don't leave El Nido without doing this!

The salt water lagoons were attractive, especially if you reserve a lagoon view room. We didn't get any cleaning service because we apparently had a light on that meant "Do not Disturb", but we don't know how we turned it on. That worked out fine because we were on a short weekend honeymoon. I loved the shower in the bathroom, with multiple water jet outlets for maximum water massage and relaxing, and the water temperature could be easily adjusted. Even better than in my condo I was renting in Cebu City. There seemed to be a decent amount of activities available like biking (we rented a tandem bicycle), played ping pong and billiards in their game room for free, but there was so much more we didn't have time to try. The breakfast buffet we had was included in our reservation/billing for free and was one of the best breakfast places I have ever had in Cebu, and never walked away hungry! The staff was very courteous and helpful from every restaurant on the property we tried. As an American, I'm used to larger portion sizes for any lunch or dinner entrée that I order, so that is just a minor complaint; however, the food quality and especially the flavor of my order was superb. I would go back to their Palermo restaurant again, no question! Their excellent staff should be proud of the work they did to make our time as happy as they made me and my wife for our short stay. Hotel could provide some face cloths

Great location ! We had a 12 hour layover, we used Belmont overnight and enjoyed the delicious breakfast they had!

Clean room. Staff are nice. Breakfast good.
