Staff was wonderful, clean room, breakfast delicious, we were just bummed the pool was closed. I LOVED the products, they were so lovely! Could you please tell me the brand of product you use in your rooms? I would really like to order the lotion. It’s amazing!

We give this a 10/10 for a 4-star stay. For it being a facility that is not strictly a hotel, we were amazed by the experience. We must open with that the staff did a phenomenal job with communicating early and even assisting with surprising my girlfriend with flowers, a snoopy gift item, and wine. They also facilitated excursion reservations and helped us select them. They were extremely detailed and answered literally all of my questions. The building itself was very well maintained and the staff was always greeting us with a smile and always happy to help. Booking through Expedia gives you daily room service which was a great plus. The minor details that impacted score were that when we arrived, although we notified when we would be arriving, we waited about 20min for someone to greet us and walk us to our room. Once checked in and settling in for the night, we found some trash under our nightstand while plugging in our charger. The door handle to the bathroom wasn’t fully secured and slid off when going to close the door. And finally, one of the reclining chairs was not operational. Our experience at the rooftop pool was both extraordinary but also felt restricted. They have a strict policy that is predatory in nature. I want to be very clear about my choice of words- you are not allowed to bring ANY outside food or beverages… not even the welcome water bottles or previously purchased bottles from the same bar. All of our drinks tasted good but poured with a light hand.

I rarely write reviews, but this property and its staff, especially Emanuel, were world class. The rooms, art, showers, beds, landscaping, and amenities made the stray memorable. And for context, I am an Airbnb Superhost and have been to 90+ countries. Enjoy your stay.

Let me start by saying I’ve stayed here a few times and always have loved it. The rooms are beautiful still the staff is very friendly until something comes up then you can feel tension. I’m not gonna go into full detail about everything but I’ll just say this. You need to understand if you’re staying here. You’re going to hear loud music played at the pool during the weekends very hard to relax in your room with thumping music. Second and the part that made this stay very difficult was the Wi-Fi would drop every 30 to 45 minutes. The TV in the bedroom wouldn’t play anything because it couldn’t get a signal and they tried to make up excuse after excuse saying the rain does that although it didn’t rain the whole time I was there and then I got an email from the owner saying that the Head staff told him it was my phone configuration. It ended up being something we talked about the entire stay, which is a shame because again the place is beautiful.

Staff were excellent, food was really good overall, and the resort is beautiful. Apart from having dinner not much else is happening in the evening. We unfortunately had a room next to a child that cried and screamed a lot. The rooms are not that well insulated. Also on arrival and check in with the concierge I was taken off guard and asked to attend a time share presentation. I didn’t expect it nor did I object so that is my fault.

They describe their suites as two bedroom when in reality they’re just two single units with a connecting door. We were a party of five expecting a suite with a common area and that was not provided. In the end we had to pay for an extra room to accommodate everyone comfortably. It’s a shame because the amenities, food and location are nice. But would not return to this hotel due to their dishonest and misleading room descriptions.
