great rooms - whole campus has an incredible attention to detail and customer service

The property was nice for a large family to stay. It fit our entire family which was nice but it’s not shiny new. Road noise at night is obnoxious but we were near the front. The photos make it look perfect but it’s not. The area around is kinda sketchy but it is Jaco Beach. The hotel is walking distance to the beach and the main strip. The staff was the best part of the property. They were super friendly and the activities director was amazing. I would stay at this property again given the cost we paid vs other name brand hotels / properties. Overall I enjoyed our stay but it was because of the people that worked there.

Loved the balcony as we sat out often. Music started too early in the morning. Not enough staff so to order food off the menu and ordering drinks took forever. Dirty glasses left on the bar counter during meal service. A pain to run a tab as they don’t ask you when checking in. So you have to give them your credit card at reception and first time at bar. Sitting on loungers you never saw a server asking you if you want something. Inefficiencies in dining room as tables never cleaned off after first sitting.

Everything!! This place is a 10 out of 10. Our concierge was the best. The staff was wonderful and the onsite restaurant did not disappoint. The sunset and views were amazing.

We had close-up, personal encounters with monkeys that literally climbed onto our balcony—an experience you’ll never forget and one that perfectly captures how connected this resort is to its natural surroundings. The monkeys are harmless and fascinating to watch… just don’t leave your glass door open 😉. Parador strikes the perfect balance between luxury and nature. You feel completely relaxed, surrounded by beauty, yet supported by an incredibly thoughtful and attentive team who clearly take pride in what they do. This is not just a place to stay—it’s an experience. We left feeling restored, inspired, and already talking about when we can return. Highly, highly recommend.

The hotel is great. Big, surrounded by nature, trees, a river, 2 excellent swimming pools and the staff is very friendly. Our room was simply perfect. The restaurant is a joke, a bad joke. They got almost nothing to serve. They dont even show you the menu because 70% of the menu is out. So you will eat what they got, not what you want. Quality of the food not good and terribly expensive.
