Ottawa - Southeastern Ontario Cheap Vacations

Overall a good stay. The room was clean and the staff were nice and helpful when asked. Good location, right across from Byward and downtown. There's construction next door but they can't control it. They provided ear plugs beside the bed which was a nice touch. But just be warned, construction started as early as 630am so if you wanted to sleep in, you won't.

- Aesthetically, everything is a bit on the older side. - Functionally, everything was quite satisfactory. - Was regardless quite surprised with how well maintainted and furnished the room was. - Staff were polite and helpful. - Complimentary breakfast is offered but I didn't partake. - As far as bang for your buck goes, this was a very pleasant surprise. - Not sure I would recommend it to families? As a solo traveler it was more than adequate, but there wasn't much to attract families either on site or around. - I would regardless recommend it to most people and will most likely return on my next trips to Gatineau.

Older hotel but clean and well kept. Friendly helpfull staff. Not a walkable location to Ottawas best attractions but close to the hwy.
