All in all an outstanding experience. This lodge far exceeded my expectations. I absolutely love the pool. The room was super comfortable. There was daily housekeeping. The laundry service was not ridiculously overpriced. The pool towel concept is absolutely ridiculous, but I'm not taking off points for it. The restaurant was amazing. I've never stayed at a hotel with a better built-in place to eat.

This property is a true oasis. The rooms are top notch with all the amenities. The food is great. We stayed in the Riverside Villa Hideaway. We watched toucans in the trees while enjoying our private hot tub...doesn't get better than that! We were celebrating our anniversary, and the staff made it extra special with champagne and love decorations in our room. They were super friendly and helpful every day. The location is great. We had rented car, so everything was easily within driving distance. Cristel, in reception, made sure we had everything we could possibly need. Oskar was a fabulous bartender, who entertained us with his stories and shared his knowledge of his country. Jeisson was super helpful with our luggage and took the extra time to show us the location of the sloth before we left and shared his expertise of the animals on the property. Rolando and Tatiana were very attentive and had great food suggestions. We will definitely stay here again if ever in the area!

The room with the private pool was awesome. The staff was exceptional, friendly, helpful and polite. The restaurant is great, the menu amazing and the service is word class. We can only recommend all activities they offer. The guides are very knowledgeable and make you feel safe and taken care of.

We had a fantastic stay loved the boat ride to the lodge, rooms were spacious, lovely big bathroom Balcony had a lovely swinging seat overlooking the river Breakfasts were fruit plus fish of your choice and was excellent Trails around the hotel were great to see frogs and birds We did a fantastic magical kayaking trip which is a must We visited national park to see turtles laying eggs, unfortunately she Borykng the hole before laying eggs but we did see the turtle going back to the sea and the hole shed dug, still a memorable experience A highlight were the iguanas lounging around the pool with us and the macaws hanging out in the trees

This was the most beautiful hotel and property I have ever stayed at! (Which I guess is reflected in the price...) Everyone was kind and lovely. The breakfast was amazing! The dinner options were excellent portions as well! Unfortunately we arrived the day before they closed the pool and hot tubs for maintenance.

Parador is a dream. From the moment you arrive to the second you leave, you will be treated like royalty. The staff provided amazing customer service throughout the whole stay. Everywhere you went, the amenities were well-kept. The spa was top-tier, and the restaurants were delicious. I would recommend this resort for families or couples because it separates family and adult areas. I expect the other hotels I stay at to live up to these standards because Parador is one of those places that raise the bar. This was truly a five-star experience for me.

Amazing place to stay in La Fortuna. It’s absolutely gorgeous and the amenities and location make it very worthwhile. The included breakfast was amazing. And the staff were exceptional! We can’t wait to come back.

Absolutely everything was perfection. The welcome, the extras, the room, the ammenities, the grounds, the spa, the food, and most of all the staff; for making our experience unforgettable. We were so spoiled and it was so beautiful, we never wanted to leave. Except maybe to try their sister resort, The Springs. We even met the owner, who happened to be in town, and he was delightful. Definitely coming back and letting everyone know this is the place to find peace and luxury in Costa Rica.

Allison at the reception and Moises at La Pola went above and beyond and provided a great experience at their hotel. The place is very well maintained and the bungalows are superb! Highly recommend this if visiting this area. Capucchino monkeys were around to give us a great welcome!
