Staff was excellent. The food was the only disappointment, but there are several restaurants around.

Every staff member we interacted with seemed completely disinterested in the guests. The woman at the front desk put us in one of the absolute worst rooms and didn’t explain how to reach the room which was on the second floor behind some doors that looked like big brown swinging kitchen doors. My husband and I were celebrating our 30th anniversary and wanted to go someplace special - we were so disappointed in the Sofitel DC experience. We will never go there again!

The hotel’s location and amenities were outstanding. The rooms are very spacious and the customer service was great. The elevators are slow and small so be prepared to wait! Also, there was an incident with one of the onsite restaurant’s staff members Tran who was very rude and unprofessional to the point her manager had to step in and ask her to go to the back! We reported her to the hotel Manager where the unfortunate incident was addressed but we did not allow that to ruin our stay because everything and everyone else at Omni Shoreham was great! We will definitely stay here again.

There wasn't anything I didn't like. What I did like, and what really stood out for me was the front desk receptionist, and the manager. They were very helpful, very attentive and responsive to any request I made, any question I had, and they were very friendly. Therefore, I have no complaints about Doubletree Hotel, and I would definitely stay there in the future.

Beautiful property with a beautiful view. The pool was under maintenance but we survived. Bring groceries or order online as no grocery stores nearby. Great being located near a Metro, just a short walk. Highly recommend.

Great experience overall. Wonderful room - excellent bed, bathroom, amenities. Housekeeping missed the mark one just one day - But overall great place to stay

Wonderful place to stay

The air-conditioning was very loud. There is no central airflow. The indoor unit is very loud, it is very difficult to sleep next to it. Also we were on the top floor near the elevator, it was very noisy, there was constant noise.

This hotel is located in a prime location and the Metro subway station is located right alongside the hotel (5 steps away). That is a HUGE plus, as using the Metro is a great way to travel around in DC. The hotel is in a terrific part of town near restaurants. Comfortable bed, shampoo, lotion, body wash and hair conditioner products are available in the room to use. There are snacks in the room (but for a fee). There is a mini gym and a vending machine for more snacks. There is an ice machine located on the ground floor and cold filtered water on each floor for your water bottle. Very nice. The staff is very friendly and Tatte and Subway and many more great food finds are in walking distance. Huge plus! Stay here. You will enjoy!
