"Bill and Pat were excellent hosts. They were nearby and available but respected our privacy. The check-in was simple, and the check-out also required very little effort (a rarity these days, it seems!). The property outside was peaceful and relaxing, and that was also the case inside. We spent a lot of time just looking out the big windows. The kitchen was well stocked with spices, pots, dishes, etc. After a quick trip to the grocery store for the main ingredients, we found everything else we needed to make a few simple meals instead of going out to eat all the time. It was too hot to take advantage of the s’mores provisions left for us in the kitchen, but it was still a nice touch provided by the owners. Every room was clean and nicely decorated. There wasn’t a single thing missing that we needed during our stay. I am hoping we can come back again in the fall or winter to take advantage of the outdoor fire pit and the fireplace inside. If you are looking for a quiet getaway at a great price with easy check-in and check-out, this is the perfect fit."
