Harpers Ferry has a haunted past, and there are ghost tours available in the evenings. Appalachian Trail (distance from house - 10 mins): Runs through Harpers Ferry, and the town is often considered the "psychological halfway point" for thru-hikers. The house is large and cozy, and we were able to relax. We also had a fun time going into Harper's Ferry, visiting the local shops, and going all the way up the trail. Just absolutely beautiful. the tv in lowest level looked so amazing with details surrounding and background lighting. the bathroom were all my dream bathrooms! the showers were just amazing!!! ##### Farrah D. It had everything our big group needed, easily accommodating multiple families with young kids. Really great layout with lots of wonderful communal spaces as well as places to sneak away for more solitude. Location was beautiful and the views from the deck are unbeatable.
