What really made this place special was the people. The grounds were beautiful. The tree house huts were cute and such a vibe, but the staff were what truly sold us on the resort. Not much in the form of nightly entertainment, but you can always go off resort. All in all- would book again and highly recommend.

My family enjoyed everything about this resort! The beach was so much fun (great water sports staff over there), the pool -huge and fun, the spa was amazing, the resort is beautiful and the food was very good! Was able to hitch a ride 85% of the time around the resort. Only reason for 4 stars was the checkin process was very long and after a delayed flight and nighttime arrival, we were tired and hungry. Checkin took about 35-40 mins! Otherwise, everything else was incredible and I can’t wait to return!

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Riu Montego Bay. The hotel was very clean, the staff was friendly and welcoming, and the overall atmosphere was relaxing and enjoyable. The food was fresh, plentiful, and offered a good variety, which we really appreciated. The beach and water were also very clean and beautiful, making it easy to enjoy our time by the ocean. The only downside during our stay was the beach vendors. They were very persistent and often continued approaching us even after we politely said no several times. At times, vendors came directly to our beach umbrella multiple times, which interrupted the relaxing experience. I’m not sure whether this is permitted by the hotel, but it was the only part of the trip that felt uncomfortable. Overall, we had a great vacation and would still recommend the hotel for its cleanliness, friendly staff, good food, and beautiful beach.

Pool was awesome and crowded. Had several pools and bartenders were awesome. Service staff was awesome.

It was our 1st time at this resort but our 5th to the island. We loved the property and the people were wonderful. Already planning our next trip back

Great stay. Hospitable staff except one at the jerk at sunset. Female chef not so receptive, maybe because we are Jamaican, but all others were great, Will definately go back

Overall, we had a great stay. The view was amazing, and the staff and customer service were 10/10. Everyone was very welcoming and attentive. The only downside was the food quality, which we would rate a 6/10, and unfortunately one of my friends got sick from the food. We also felt that staying in Building 4 made it inconvenient to get to the lunch and main areas since we had to walk across the resort often. Other than that, we really enjoyed our experience.
