Room was clean , friendly staff, missing coffee maker in the room would definitely stay there again! Only complaint is Wish the parking was free for guests, had to pay for parking! So iver priced!

Staff was excellent

Good hotel. Less than Aria. Big rooms. Not many amenities other than pool and work-out room. The resort fee is outrageous. Over $60 with tax. Parking is $40 per day, also very high and you have to valet it or walk 3/4 of a mile from the self-parking area...good for getting steps in but not great hauling your luggage in 105-degree heat.

So after 20 years of going to Vegas The Rio was one of the few mid level hotel casino I haven't stayed in. So I booked 2 days and right after check in I noticed that the elevators to the Ipanema towers were really slow. So after a few trips up and down I noticed that only 2 of the 6 elevators were working. On a Labor Day weekend this was unacceptable. Several times I noticed around 25 to 30 people all waiting on elevators. That's the first issue. Next I noticed that many of the shops/stores were either closed or out of business. This was all hours of the day. The Starbucks was twice as expensive as a normal one(I get it) and closes really early. Food in general was notably expensive. Of course the resort fee was more than the room....then they tax the resort fee...and then tax the room. Can't make this up. I stayed because I wanted to see if the famous buffet was still going on....and of course it wasn't. To say I was disappointed in my stay there is a tremendous understatement! So the saying goes.......NEVER AGAIN! Rio....you need to do better!

Terrible pool service! My daughter and son were already cold, but the staff member on duty refused to give us a towel simply because we had left our wristbands behind. I understand that wristbands may be required, but what was frustrating and unfair was seeing the same staff member give towels to other guests who asked before us without checking or requiring their wristbands. If this is a policy, it should be applied consistently to everyone. My children were cold, and we were only asking for a towel. Very disappointing customer service! And by the way one of my children, my son is only 2 years old, he doesn’t even need a wrist band.
