The common areas (restaurant, lobby, lounge) are pleasant and well designed, and the amenities, including the sauna and pool, are genuinely enjoyable. The view over the Salar de Uyuni is lovely, and overall the place has a nice atmosphere. That said, it feels somewhat overpriced for what it is.
The real problem is the lack of staff. You constantly see employees running everywhere. They are lovely and clearly want to do their best for guests, but they are overwhelmed and simply can't keep up with requests, which are many, since this is a popular hotel.

"This is a special place, really lovely people take great care to cook delicious meals, keep gardens looking beautiful, and give recommendations on what to do and see. Loved the room too. Be warned you do have to walk uphill a while to get there, was tough for us as we hadn’t acclimated to the elevation. ..."
