This is a special place, really lovely people take great care to cook delicious meals, keep gardens looking beautiful, and give recommendations on what to do and see. Loved the room too. Be warned you do have to walk uphill a while to get there, was tough for us as we hadn’t acclimated to the elevation. But we’ll worth it!

Nous avons passé une nuit dans cet établissement, bungalow avec une vue magnifique sur le lac Titicaca Accueil très professionnel et sympathique Très bonne restauration et enfin un petit déjeuner digne de ce nom, ce qui est un peu rare en Bolivie Nous recommandons sans hésiter

Voilà un hôtel qui se mérite. Pour arriver à la réception, il faut effectuer à pied une montée assez abrupte qui, selon les personnes, peut prendre entre 45 minutes et une heure. Heureusement, vos bagages sont pris en charge par des spécialistes qui les montent à dos d’âne du bord du lac Titicaca, jusqu’à 4000 m d’altitude L’hôtel et les chambres jouissent d’une vue absolument inoubliable sur la chaîne orientale des Andes. Une expérience vraiment inoubliable.

Toda una experiencia

Nos encantó la experiencia. Si lo necesitas, te ayudan a subir y bajar tu equipaje hasta el hotel con unos burros. Cuando llegas ves las habitaciones en pequeñas edificaciones independientes. Las habitaciones son amplias y cómodas. La cena y el desayuno se hace en una zona común, en mesas compartidas con otras personas. La comida es casera y está todo muy bueno. Todo el hotel está pensado para ser lo más ecológico posible. Dormir en la isla es una experiencia en sí misma, además desde la habitación se ve el amanecer.

un endroit parfait pour dormir sur l'Isla del Sol. La vue est magnifique, les extérieurs sont très agréables. Nous avons très bien dormi dans un lit très confortable. Il y a de l'eau chaude pour prendre sa douche. le repas, inclus dans le prix de chambre était très bon (sauf le dessert qui n'était pas exceptionnel). un endroit à réserver sans hésiter.

A éviter impérativement

Après 45 minutes de marche (et de la vraie montée...), on arrive dans un hôtel tout à fait commun mais qui a la prétention d'un hôtel haut de gamme. La personne a l'accueil est désagréable, parle espagnol et ... c'est tout. Et elle ne sait pas grand chose, et à vrai dire rien. Il n'y a pas de terminal pour payer avec la Visa et vous êtes obligé de donner sur papier toutes les coordonnées de votre carte de paiement... Il faut avoir confiance. Il n'y a pas de chauffage dans les chambres (qui sont agréables par ailleurs), et pour avoir une couverture ou une couette supplémentaire, il faut quasiment menacer le personnel. Le restaurant, incontournable puisque vous êtes perché au sommet, est véritablement pas bon, moins bon qu'un niveau d'une cantine quelconque. En bref, cet hôtel qui se veut d'une certaine catégorie (et c'est se qu'on attend quand on a payé un tel prix en Bolivie!!!) est tout simplement un hôtel bas de gamme. Autant dormir à Copacabana.

Great stay at Eco Lodge la Estencia

Great stay at Ecolodge la Estencia. We did not have to carry our bags to the top (30 min walk uphill) which was great. Nice and big room with hot shower and a lovely view. Meals were really good and well cooked, but could have been a little bit more filling. Welcoming team!

Excelente opción en Isla del Sol, realmente lo que buscábamos, un lugar para desconectarse y encontrarse con uno mismo y la naturaleza sin perder la comodidad, Rossana en la recepción fue muy atenta y amable, la comida muy buena, la vista increíble, la habitación muy comoda... muy buena experiencia

Lovely location
