We loved our experience at the resort - the lush greenery, friendly staff, great food options - the best we had in days- proximity to the beach. Pankaj provided a doctor immediately as I came in sick which was timely. I recovered quickly as a result and join the family on day trips. It felt warm as everyone was enquiring. It really shows the warmth of the people here.

1.) bugs in washroom 2.) bugs on food and on plates(breakfast buffet) 3.) bed was uncomfortable(over bumpy) 4.) staff service was way to slow

We loved our stay at Alila Diwa and would absolutely recommend it. We stayed outside of peak season which meant we were able to upgrade to Diwa club for a really reasonable price and I'd recommend doing the same, if you're able to; the rooms are spacious and bathrooms actually feel separate to the main bedroom/living area, plus you get access to the sundowners at Bistro. Our stay at Alila Diwa rounded off a 3 week trip around India and so we were ready for some sun lounger time, early nights and had already had two weeks of delicious North and West Indian cuisine. If that wasn't the case, I think we'd have been a little more disappointed in the food options at the hotel, particularly as there are limited walkable options nearby (GoaMiles doesn't operate in the areas so for taxis, you're reliant on organising via the hotel/a driver). The restaurants are nice but not as delicious as some of the cheaper, local places we visited in north Goa, before arriving. We also visited the spa for a massage. The service was really easy to organise and incredibly well priced for a 5* hotel. And it was quite literally the best massage of my life. If you want a beautiful hotel, time to rest and hospitality staff who are equal parts charming, equal parts utterly wonderful - then Alila Diwa is 10/10.

Its a good property with private beach, well maintained but swimming pool water was not clean. We visited during summer so climate was hot & humid but biggest drawback of this property is there is no air conditioned restaurant in the property (except one which is not great) , it makes your holidays tiring especially in summer. Hotel management must think about making main restaurant (sea gull) airconditioned to provide right ambience to guests. More efforts are required to bring it to Novotel standards. Regards ,

The property needs substantial renovation - many rooms are bit run down and with foul smell...Rest of the things in terms of amenities and other aspects are upto the mark of Taj!
