Malta Cheap Vacations

The breakfast experience was not pleasant at all, what hotel has all the food behind plastic screens and you cannot help yourself, you ask the staff for each item you want, joke am l not capable of plating my own food. The staff have no interaction with the guests it's like being in a school dinner experience, all the photos show food open and no screens on Web site, and breakfast closes at 9am far to early any modern hotel finishes at 10am. The hotel is good staff outside of dining room excellent and friendly, bar area a little dated, location is fine. Just a pity breakfast experience does not come up to standard, also lots of people in pyjamas at breakfast not acceptable, for the breakfast and dinning would not recommend unless big changes are made

Staying at the Corinthia Palace was such a treat. From the fantastic service to the amazing food. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves & did not want to come home. The room was so spacious & comfortable, with a lovely sized balcony. Big, comfortable beds & a choice of pillows if needed. Even the slippers were comfortable. The pool was wonderful! The sun loungers were easily available… no sun-bed hogging is allowed. Large towels are supplied & cleared away afterwards. Staff are on hand offering amazing poolside service (there’s even a buzzer if you want to order anything). There’s a nice choice of restaurants with something on the menu for everybody, and we enjoyed live music in the evenings in the Caprice Lounge. Breakfast was fantastic! £25 each with a huge choice of buffet & made to order menu options. Lots of choices for drinks from tea/coffee to juices & even iced lattes. We were stuffed! There are only a couple of small things to note. Getting in/out of the main doors with luggage was a bit of a faff as the doors were closed/heavy & nobody to help (wouldn’t have been an issue if my husband was with us). Also, the room was a bit tired around the edges and could do with a freshen up. Lastly, there’s not much around the hotel (which for us was great!). There is a free hotel shuttle service though. We didn’t use it as we’d stayed elsewhere to explore, then spent our last few days exclusively at the Corinthia Palace to rest. Overall incredible, thank you, we will 100% be back!

Great location if you want to be close to Gozo and Comino Ferry while also being next to the less rocky beaches of Malt. The Public Transport near this hotel was also very reliable and useful to get around while food was all next to the location. The pools were very clean and nice and the amenities were awesome. Staff definitely made you feel VIP the entire time.

Good things: Room was small but fit for just sleeping and showering which is what I needed. The AC was brilliant. The location was quite handy beat lots of shops, restaurants ferry/boat trips. Staff were very nice when I spoke to them. Room was clean and bed was comfy. Bad things: There was a cockroach in my room the first night which gave me anxiety all the other nights I stayed. The elevator just didn’t work half the time I wanted to use it. Booked a basic economy room with no view so didn’t have super high expectations but the window opened to a ventilation shaft and an AC unit which blocked natural light getting in. The doors use actual keys and locks on a big keychain which you hand to reception before you go out. Not sure if it was just my door but unlocking it was a task, I had to turn it in a specific way multiple times to open. Bath tub was a bit small with little standing space. I couldn’t really move in the shower. It didn’t have grip mat so was scared I’d fall and the shower head didn’t detach so was stuck at its height.
