Should have more taxis for the airport

The staff here were exceptional. It’s a nice hotel but there were a few areas that lacked a little bit of maintenance or weren’t very well thought out. For example it’s all open plan so the shower steams up the room. You step out of the shower onto tiled floor which is very slippery. We had a nice time here, it has lovely grounds and the staff are great. We were in a club room which is next to a construction site where there was noise and waste burning. Although this didn’t happen at night. The upstairs pool and bar area for the club rooms was really nice. Overall it’s a nice hotel, but there are better ones out there. If you are on a budget it’s a good option, but if you are deciding between this hotel and somewhere more expensive, you may prefer that option

Food great, staff nice. Coffee was not good. Bathroom had sewage smell. Bathroom towel time to replace. Massage was expensive.

Whilst a small resort it was clean, excellent food, and staff were kind and friendly. Outlook from the restaurant was fantastic!

Second time staying here… It will be the last. Not really representing value for money! Choice of pool with screaming kids or small cramped adults pool with no sun chairs. Do not eat the food, ordered a salad and chicken wings by the pool and had Bali Belly on my fly out day, ordered a burger room service and the bun was soggy with 15-20 fries and half a condiments jar or dried out coleslaw. Breakfast has a lot of variation but nothing with any wow factor, all very mediocre. Too close to beach… Fireworks going off all night, terrible first 3 nights sleep until I fell into a coma due to exhaustion and accumulated fatigue. The property is beautiful and staff are great but don’t pay over $150AUD otherwise it’s a very poor value return!

This was my second stay at this magical property, and once again, it did not disappoint! Everything was wonderful—from the warm and attentive hotel staff to the beautiful guest rooms, facilities, pool, spa experience, food, and entertainment. I even had the opportunity to experience the care of the doctor and nurse on call, who were both wonderful and made me feel very well taken care of. A special thank you to the entire team for going above and beyond to make my friend’s birthday feel even more special. Those thoughtful touches truly meant so much to us and made our stay even more memorable. Thank you for another amazing experience. I absolutely love this beautiful property and cannot wait to return for a third visit! ✨💖

We return to this hotel time and time again and it looks the same as when we first stayed. All the staff are lovely and very attentive. They really make you feel at home and that nothing is too much trouble for them. The amenities are awesome over the years we've eaten at the pool bar, the beach club restaurant, we've had a romantic beachfront dinner experience and most recently their tapenyaki experience. All are amazing and if you can do them all... You should. Their breakfast buffet is the best I've ever experienced, you can choose to have western, Indonesian, Indian and continental food options. And there's even a chocolate fountain with fruit for the kids (you know I had that). One thing I wouldn't sleep on, the Nasi Jingo option if you do stay! The spa is lovely and relaxing. Yes you can go down the road and get a much more affordable spa option, but I promise you the experience you receive and the setting is totally different and non comparable. I reccomend booking an evening massage after your days activities or a full relaxation package for a lounge day. Until recently I've gatekeped this hotel but it's about time I supported it by leaving the review it deserves. Thank you Sakala team and I hope you still have space for us on our next return.
