We loved this hotel, you can tell they love it too - well taken care of top to bottom

We stayed at Hotel KEF the night before leaving the country. Be advised there is not an airport shuttle but the staff will arrange transportation upon request. There were a few broken items in our bathroom, the shower heard holder and a light switch. We arrived early as we were moving between locations, they have a place for luggage storage but if want or need your room sooner than the 3pm check in, there’s a charge (20 Euro/Hr). While the spa is not included in the price, I highly recommend taking advantage of it, spectacular. Restaurant on-site serves delicious food. It’s a beautiful hotel, polite staff that are proud of their facility. If you need to stay in Keflavik, I recommend seriously considering this hotel.

We selected this hotel near the airport because of an early flight. Because of delays in our golden circle tour, we didn't arrive until very late. There were no food options nearby and the swimming pool was ready to close. We didn't get to take advantage of the amenities, but the room was clean and comfortable. The shuttle to the airport in the morning was efficient. They do not offer a shuttle from the airport and the taxi was expensive (like everything touristic in Iceland).

Perfect for a basic overnight layover. I'd stay again. The taxi driver didn't know about the free shuttle part though, so we paid full price for the ride. I did message the hotel to give them our information to arrange the shuttle/taxi before the trip started but the hotel said to just call the taxi. So one small hitch, but a good stay overall.

Nice hotel with tasty breakfast included. The room was small and the bathroom was way too small. The room was overpriced a bit, in my opinion. However, the geothermal features were unique…
