Ladys Island Fishing Vacations

Hotel Emeline was a 5-star experience. Existing pictures and reviews don't do this place enough justice!!! We were on a girls' trip (4 girls in their early 40's from all over the US) and we would stay back here in a heartbeat if returning to Charleston in the future. The hotel has such a welcoming atmosphere - it's stylish, modern, clean and the staff are wonderful! Not to mention the on site coffee shop and restaurant are both incredible and food and Bev quality were outstanding! We went on a girls' trip for the weekend and were looking for place for 4 of us to be together. The two-king suite was the most perfect set-up with two private bedrooms and a shared bathroom - couldn't ask for more! And it was cheaper than getting two separate rooms anywhere else. Highly recommend this hotel!!!!

Very close to the shops, restaurant and market. The room was lovely, and the staff great. The one drawback was that our room had a fire alert over the bed which gave a bright green light as we were in bed. I believe the property will have some upgrades in the near future and hope the light will be somewhere else.

Amazing location and a beautiful mansion facade are the high points. The low points: $50 “lodging fee” for every single day of your stay; Rowdy kids in the only pool; Paper thin walls, babies screaming, loud TVs of other guests; Not as “modern” looking as the marketing makes it seem — the feel is “motel with a cocktail bar.”

The hotel is new and beautifully appointed. The staff were super friendly and helpful with local recommendations. Would definitely stay there again.

Great location, central to everything. Clean facilities, friendly staff. Would definitely stay again. Only less than ideal aspect is amenity fee, which was not explicitly discussed during booking process or at check in. This seems pretty typical nowadays and is fairly reasonable, but would have been nice to know or even just pay upfront/price into booking.
