Wonderful B+B. Very comfortable room, warm and friendly hosts and a delicious homecooked breakfast! Sad I only got to stay 1 night!

We stayed at Armathwaite Hall for one night and it was superb. The staff were all so friendly and helpful and little touches made our stay very memorable such as a glass of prosecco on arrival and a card and some chocolates in my room for my birthday. We stayed in a Club room which was very spacious. We ate in the dining room which was pricey but the food was exquisite so worth the money. We also made full use of the spa facilities which are just heavenly and very relaxing. I would thoroughly recommend Armathwaite Hall to anyone even if only for a one night birthday treat. Superb!

We were very pleased with our stay. There is a lot of renovation work going on but the hotel is still functioning well. Maybe a couple of the staff on reception could be better trained on check in and check out etticet. Overall good stay

Fabulous location. A lot of renovation work is being carried out but it didn’t affect any of the comforts of our three night stay.
