"The cabin is everything shown in the listing..and more. The photos don't do justice to all the personal touches and thoughtful conveniences at the property. Its cozy, comfortable, and well appointed. We had a great local dinner at the lodge nearby recommended by the host. The property couldn't be more convenient to Lassen Park. The location is very quiet most of the time. The only complaint is that a loud motor came on at 5 am each morning behind the bedroom (a generator?) The first morning it turned off after ten minutes, but the next morning it stayed on for a few hours. All in all, highly recommended."

"Our time in this very special property was amazing. There was plenty of room for the whole family to spread out and relax. Watching the river flow past with amazing views of an ecological reserve on the other side of the river and stunning views of Mt Lassen in the distance provided a tranquil experience both from the deck and inside the house. We played games and hung out late into the night. Ready to go back!"

"Exceeded our expectations as we were little circumspect staying at a motel with family with kids. Found many positive things to comment. 1. Called them before 10 PM since done we were arriving late and we were able to get out keys without issues. 2. Room was clean with microwave, refrigerator, plenty of coffee and bathroom amenities. 3. Beds were large and clean. The room had a different smell ( not sure if it was related to launder detergent or old furnitures) to it but a minor negative. Laundry and ice machine was easily accessible ( although did not need it). Was very happy with the place overall and will stay here again in the future if traveling to this area."
