"Karen was very responsive when we made our reservation, and we found everything to be really wonderful at the cabin. The location on the lake was spectacular and it was a joy to relax on the deck as the cool breeze blew off of the lake. The cabin was extremely clean, the beds were very comfortable, sheets and linens were provided and were of very good quality. The cabin was very quiet, dog friendly, with plenty of room for two people. While we didn't use the nicely remodeled kitchen, the appliances all seem new and in great shape. It's a terrific location for rest and relaxation, with the town of Chester about 15 minutes away. The damage from the Dixie fire was not evident around this area of Lake Almanor and the beautiful pine trees were lovely. We also enjoyed sitting on the dock and jumping in the cool, clean water. If you have a boat, there's a slip provided for you, which would be very convenient. All in all, a fabulous stay."

"Simple living with a "front row covered porch seat" to view the lake. Spent the first hour of our mini vacation on the porch watching the rain fall and listening to thunder. What a treat!Minor maintenance issue taken care of immediately! Don't hesitate to rent this cute and cozy studio cabin.Excellent dining very near. All in all a delightful 3 days."

"Easy access, owner’s responded immediately to any questions. Bed was very comfortable. Bathroom was clean, roomy and well lit. Room was nicely decorated and spacious, even had a large walk in closet with plenty of room to store our suitcases. Owners are super nice people!"

"The property was great. Super clean, simple but super functional unit, and low chaos as it was on the quiet outside corner of Big Cove. The launch ramp and dock were so user friendly. Only ask: It would be great it the sofa pulled out into a twin bed. I give it a solid A- and look forward to getting a larger group of fishermen and a few cabins for the next trip. "We loved this house - very clean, with all the amenities that’s perfect for a family vacation. Its location sits close to the water with beautiful views of the branch. Kids loved the pool/l table/ping pong table, big kitchen for meals, beautiful deck with a fire pit to enjoy sitting outside. Walking distance to the lake - water toys including kyaks and beach chairs for the lake were provided. We’ll definitely want to rent this house again next summer."

"We had a family of 10 from 8 years old to 73. Had an amazing time, the home is beautiful, had everything we needed for our families. Dee was attentive, always answered my questions in a timely manner. We rented a boat so the dock came in very handy, the last day we just stayed on the lower dock and the kids had a blast jumping off the dock, as we took advantage of the great furniture they had on the lower dock. Been to Lake Almanor numerous times and this was our favorite place to stay. Thank you"
