This dreamy log cabin has everything you need for the best family vacation! Make your trip to Northern California one to remember with The Happy Bear Lodge as your home base! From skiing or wake boarding to fishing, hiking and boating! Happy Bear is sure to leave you and your family feeling refreshed and fulfilled after your stay! You will truly leave with memories of your time at The Happy Bear Lodge as one of the greatest family vacations you and your kids have ever had!  
  
You will have full access to your new home! The Happy Bear Lodge has 4 bedrooms and 2 and a half baths with plenty of space to spread out and read a good book by the cozy fire or in the large 2 person soaking tub. Grab your kiddos and head down the little trail around the cabin to the fire pit for s\`mores and stories while observing the fully lit fun center just across the foliage. From the sauna to the old movies and the kids play area. We\`ve thought of everything so you don\`t have to. This cabin was made for kids to have fun and parents to relax and it\`s the perfect blend of those two things. We can\`t wait to host you.  
  
The Oasis Fun Center is not part of this property but it is right next door and we have a great relationship with them!  
  
\* Please keep in mind that because we are so close to the Oasis Fun Center, there is a potential for noise during their hours of operation (Su-Th 12-9 and Fr-Sa 12-10pm)\`

Guests will have access to all of the inside of the house and driveway. There is one closet blocked off for the owners belongings/cleaners supplies.  
  
I am fully accessible to guests for the entire time they are here through phone calls or texts! I give every guest my direct number upon booking and am happy to help any way I can!  
  
The cabin is located within driving distance to Mt. Shasta and Mt. Lassen offering endless recreational opportunities: fly fishing, exploring on ATVs, hiking, hunting, golfing, watersports on the many rivers and lakes within 20 miles, snow skiing, visiting state and national parks plus enjoying the many local activities.  
  
Cars are the best way to get to and from the Lodge. There is plenty of parking for multiple cars, boats and RV’s.  
  
30+ day stays: special monthly rates for Fall and Winter - message if interested.  
  
1 dog up to 20lbs for an extra $100 fee.  
  
Bringing a dog along? Yay! We love dogs! We just ask you to agree that …  
  
\- The dog is trained not to scratch, chew or go to the bathroom in the house  
\- You do not ever leave the dog on the property unattended at any time  
\- You don’t allow them onto any furniture/linens  
\- You pick up all poo/mess outside  
\- You confirm that your booking clearly lists the pet  
\- You pay our $100 per pet fee  
  
As long as all of that works for you, we’re happy to have them! Please confirm your agreement through our messages so we have your agreement on record.  
  
No furniture is to be moved around anywhere on the property at any time.  
  
If furniture is moved or damaged in anyway, we will charge not only for the repair or replacement of the furniture but also for the labor to move the furniture back to where it belongs.  
  
Oasis Fun Center is not part of this property but it is right next door and we have a great relationship with them!

PET POLICY  
We absolutely LOVE animals and our pet-friendly properties are designed with pets in mind! For guests booking one of our pet-friendly properties or traveling with service animals, please note:  
  
(While the ADA does not require disclosure of service animals, we GREATLY appreciate advance notice to help us prepare the property and plan accordingly for our cleaners.)  
  
\- Pet Approval: All dogs must be approved through management via booking site messages. (Does not apply to ADA service animals.)  
\- Pet Fee: $35/night per dog, up to 2 dogs. (Does not apply to ADA service animals.)  
\- No Unattended Pets: Pets may never be left unattended on the property. Unattended pets reported by neighbors, cameras, or staff will result in reservation cancellation without refund.  
\- Furniture Restrictions: Pets are not allowed on furniture (couches, chairs, beds). If pet hair, stains, scratches are found, additional cleaning fees of at least $100 will apply.  
\- Damage & Messes: Pet owners must clean up all pet-related messes (food, hair, waste). Lint rollers and waste bags are provided at pet-friendly properties.  
\- Damage Reporting: Any damages must be reported immediately so we can address them together.  
\- Unapproved Pets: Unapproved pets incur a $75/night fee, added upon checkout or when reported by our cleaners.

PARKING  
Per city ordinance, we are required to collect license plate numbers for all vehicles and do so via a google form we send at the time of reservation. All parking in non-downtown locations is limited to 1 car per bedroom and must be off street.  
  
OCCUPANCY  
Per city ordinance, the maximum occupancy is 2 adults per bedroom overnight, with a total cap of 16 adults on the property at any time. There is no cap on children.  
All guests, including children, must be accounted for in your reservation.  
  
SMOKING/VAPING  
Our properties are \*smoke-free\* homes, first and foremost. Smoking is NOT allowed inside any of our properties under any circumstances.  
\- Outdoor Smoking Rule: Smoking is prohibited within 25 feet of any door to the property.  
\- Outdoor Evidence of Smoking: Any evidence of smoking outside (including cigarette butts, leftover joints, marijuana scraps, pipes, vapes, etc.) will be promptly disposed of and will result in a $75 fine. This includes any remnants left in fire pits or other un-designated smoking areas.  
\- Indoor Smoking Penalty: If smoking is detected inside the property, a minimum fine of $250 will be applied, along with reimbursement for any revenue lost from blocked nights required for smoke removal.  
\- Smoke/Vape Detection: Please note that some of our properties are equipped with smoke and vape detection sensors integrated into the noise monitoring system. These devices alert us to potential violations, ensuring our smoke-free policy is upheld.  
\- Enforcement Process: Our cleaners report any signs of smoking immediately upon arrival, followed by a secondary inspection to confirm and document the issue. The incident is then reported to the booking platform without delay.  
Thank you for respecting our smoke-free policy and helping us maintain clean and welcoming homes for all guests.  
  
QUIET HOURS  
Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM.  
All outdoor activities must move indoors at 10:00 PM.  
Please turn off any outdoor string lights accessible to you during quiet hours.  
  
EVENTS/PARTIES  
Events and parties are strictly prohibited at ALL of our properties. This is our company policy, part of our local ordinance AND part of your booking sites policy.  
Violations will result in a minimum $50 service charge and possible removal from the property.  
  
SAFETY & SECURITY  
Cameras, noise sensors, and security systems are in place and must not be tampered with, unplugged, or covered.

Please be kind and respectful to the neighbors.  
No loud music, shouting, or disruptive behavior.

TRASH  
Please make sure to separate your recyclables from your trash and place them in the appropriate bins:  
Separate recyclables (blue bin), trash (gray bin), and yard waste (green or brown bin). Any questions on what can go where, please message us!  
  
ADDITIONAL AMENITIES AVAILABLE

\- Mid-Stay Cleaning: $50/hour (up to 4 hours | between 8 AM - 5PM)  
\- Linen Refresh (bed linens and towels): $50  
\- Firewood Delivery: $35 per bundle  
\- Romance Package: $150 (includes rose petals, sparkling cider or wine, chocolates, and candles) Must provide photo of ID for alcohol.  
\- Birthday Package: $100 (includes balloons, a small cake, and birthday banner)  
\- Custom Event Setup: Starting at $150  
\- Winter Gear (sleds & s\`more kit): $25 per stay  
\- 2015 Chevrolet Silverado (6-seater, 4WD): Pricing available via Turo link (provided upon request)  
  
OTHER POLICIES  
Moving furniture is not allowed. Any moved furniture will incur a minimum $100 fee for repositioning by our handyman.  
Adhere to any fire bans or wildlife safety precautions as instructed during your stay.  
  
ACCIDENTAL DAMAGE WAIVER  
We charge a $25 “management” fee with every reservation as part of our Private Damage Waiver program. This covers all guests for up to $1000 worth of accidental damage

Property was great..we had 3 truck and boats rigs. Plenty of room for all the fisherman that fish Shasta. Was up there for annual Bass fishing championship. The host was very easy to communicate with and texted right back with any answers to questions.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful Lake Shasta cabin. The place was very clean and extremely comfortable. The master bedroom downstairs was spacious, with its own kitchen and sofa, making it feel like a private suite. Bathrooms and showers were modern and well kept.The highlight for me was the extra-large dining table surrounded by round windows, high ceilings, and gorgeous log construction — the perfect setting for making memories with friends. The decorations were unique and charming, from the metal saw art to the bear and deer touches. The marble kitchen was well equipped, making cooking together easy and enjoyable.The only things we wished for were a bathroom upstairs (since we were five older couples and going up and down at night was a bit challenging) and that the cabin was set a little farther back from the main road for added privacy. Still, the elegant spiral staircase and the overall charm of the home made those details easy to overlook.Overall, we 100% recommend this cabin for anyone looking for a clean, cozy, and memorable getaway at Lake Shasta!

We did something everyday. Except the day we checked in. Beautiful place. Amazing host. She was very friendly and was right on answeimg back for any question. Only thing wrong was trash day.

#### Great cabin for family get-together

The rustic cabin exceeded our expectations for our family get together. The cabin provided comfortable sleeping space for our party of 12. The cabin was well stocked with everything one would need, including cooking utensils and other supplies. Christie is a great host and helped make our trip enjoyable. We liked the large wooden table for our meals. Nice being close to the fun center.
