White River Junction Vacation Packages

This was a unique experience for me. It was like having a nice room in a log cabin. It was very quiet and peaceful right off the winding country road sitting in front of a forest with a beautiful outlook from the dining area. There was good self serve beverage options available when I arrived in the late evening and breakfast the next morning had enough quality items for a gluten free person like myself. No bread or baked goods for me but nice yogurt, fresh fruit and coffee. The owner Nick was very accessible when I needed some help with the lock. He came right up and showed me what I needed to do. The room was small but comfortable. There was a tv which I didn't use. As I had a few hours to kill before turning in, I brought a book downstairs to the eating area and sat in a comfortable chair with a cup of tea. I thought I was the only one there but at breakfast there were at least three others who had stayed the night. While the mattress was somewhat soft, I still slept fine. I would stay again.

WE enjoyed the architecture of the whole complex - reception coffee lounge (Hot Drinks day and night as a compliment). Parking was right there. Center of town. The staff helped us when we needed to extend at the special rate. It attracts fun guests. It is a special place - not the run of the mill franchise. The linen is first class, nice thick towels. The room had a microwave and a refrig, plus the record player theme is another theme for folks who appreciate the vinyl era. Remember - Art Deco Era - not modern era.

We went for a girls trip for one night! Everything was amazing from check in to check out! We felt like we were greeting and taking care of our stay. The food is amazing the atmosphere is fantastic and can’t wait till next year!!!!

Staff was attentive. The place is run down, but dispute the reviews online, the place is not as bad as stated. The room had some slight issues, blood on the pillow case and hair on the sink but for Brattleboro- I mean that’s relatively clean. It wasn’t outrageous price for what it was. I’d stay there again- I slept surprisingly well. No bugs. The rest is just minor inconveniences.

This property apparently has new owners and maybe they are working to improve it. If so, they have a long way to go. I did not try breakfast- didm’t trust it. I will say the sheets and towels were decent. The pictures are nothing like the what you will get. They must have been from when the place was in its hey day. I will never go back or recommend it to anyone else.
