As you drive up the driveway, the front of the home boasts an expansive deck with trees offering privacy and seclusion. Inside, you will be greeted by a large updated kitchen, dining room, living room, and primary bedroom ensuite with a stall shower and whirlpool bath. A screened-in porch sunroom is also accessible from the main level for those warm summer days. The second story of this fabulous home has an additional sitting area as well as two additional bedrooms: one queen size bedroom and a third bedroom with two twin beds. Large and comfortable with a beautiful deck that had us sitting out for hours on a lovely fall day. We experienced some hiccups however. The rental agency provided a phone number in the event of problems. No one responded to text or call when recycling from the prior occupant wasn't picked up and a bear got into it, leaving trash all over. Hannah at Portoro was great when we finally connected but a contact person needs to be available in the event of problems. A neighbor was very upset about the trash and told my husband she was thinkiing of calling the police. Though he knew that was nonsense, we could have done without the drama.
