"The home was very nice. Our only real complaint was there was no furniture for senior people to relax on and get their legs up except for the chair upstairs with the foot stool. The furniture in the house was nice for younger folks in the living room and the family room. The beds were wonderfult to sleep on too. The kitchen had a good selection of pots and pans for cooking. The bonus was the Weber grill for cooking - we had some really good steaks! Our dog really loved the back yard too. We had the grandkids over a couple of times and they loved the ping-pong table in the garage and the toys upstairs. We even had some really competitive adult games too. We would stay again since the house was very close to my daughter and grandkids."

"I feel it is unrealistic to have a pet friendly listing but that the detailed rules are pets are not allowed on furniture. If people are considering bringing a pet, their pets are probably allowed on some portion of bedding or couches. That just didn't feel really fair to allow pets but to not allow them to be in the space like we would have normally allowed. If I had known that specific rule, we might not have stayed. Just say if a place is pet friendly or not. Not the odd middle ground which made us extra cautious because we wanted to respect the rule but it lead to a lot of confusion from our pets and left us feeling a little uncomfortable."

"This is the best vacation rental our family has ever stayed at! The location is incredible, we saw bald eagles and herons and the most wonderful water views. The house is stocked with everything you could ever need for a stay. The listing is accurate, except I think it undersells just how wonderful it is. It's tastefully decorated, the labeling is super helpful, and the view cannot be beat. The hosts have truly gone above and beyond to consider what their guests need."

"Building itself and updated decor was very charming. The employees were helpful and gracious. Lodge rooms above the restaurant smell strongly of cooked steak etc all night long but was otherwise cozy and comfortable."
