Staffs are friendly. I know it is an old building but it is not clean. The room is dusty and there were hair on the towel and a lot more on the carpet, our wet shoes collected a bunch of them after touring the room as soon as we checked in. Breakfast is minimal but helps especially when traveling with kids. It is right on the main street and of course we can’t forget to mention that there is a naval station nearby, expect aerial noise from time to time during the day. Overall, great value and beautiful curb appeal. I only wish for a better housekeeping.

Pros: The room was clean. The beds were comfortable. The heater/AC worked very well. The breakfast bar offered cold foods (boiled eggs, cereal, breakfast bars, etc, with the exception of oatmeal. Cons: The power strip needed to have one more plug in so the coffee pit and the microwave could be plugged in at the same time. The bathroom was clean, except for the walls desperately needed washed from the waist down.

We rented a cabin. It was tiny and very old minimal furnishings. Shower was tiny. The room was cold, no heater turned on prior to arival. Staff person didn't know how to turn on heaters. The breakfast was minimal. Wouldn't stay there again, although the regular rooms may have been better.

Always a nice and quiet visit. I stay at least 3 days a month there and it's so nice a clean. The staff is sweet and I didn't tell you this but they will work within your budget if you're a good guest

The room was clean, but very sparse and not a comfortable place to relax. There was only a nightstand on one side of the bed. There were only two dining chairs to sit in, no comfortable reading chair or sofa. The hard surface floor added to the cold, emptiness. Be warned that military jets fly by all during the day, but did stop over night. The HVAC unit is also very loud when it comes on. All-in-all, it is not bad for the price, but it is not a relaxing stay.

This is an older property. We found the room clean and the bed was very comfortable. The furniture is older. The tv was large, clear and there were many channels. Parking was fine but there is no elevator to the second floor and entry is from the outside. We did not eat the breakfast as we do no prefer the continental ones. I did check it out and there were cereals, pastries, bagels etc. The basic. Towels were brought to us immediately when we noticed there were none. For one night, I would recommend this place.

Parking was good. The grab-n-go type breakfast was average. Counters were clean and well-stocked. The poor rating for cleanliness was due to a very sticky bathroom floor. It was also filthy when we decided to wash it with a washcloth because we didn’t want to walk on it in bare feet. As well, the room spray when we first arrived was incredibly strong. We opened the window fully to try and air it out, left for a couple hours, and came back to find it was just as strong. My wife got a bad headache from it. When we complained to the front desk, they offered a different, “neutral” spray to use, which we declined. We asked about changing to a different room and was told because we had “used” the room, that was not an option. (Only the bathroom was used.) We were told that because we paid for the room through Expedia that they could not offer a refund, which we never even asked for. This was reiterated twice, and we told them we weren’t asking for that. Needless to say, the window was open all night even though it was a cold night. The bed was a queen on a bed frame with wheels that the “brake” was not set in the on position. No headboard. Mattress was soft. The towels were fluffy and clean. Shower had nice hot water. There was a small microwave and fridge which were okay. We would not return to this hotel.
