"I stayed in Cabin #5. As the cabin is located right next to the road, the owners thoughtfully provided earplugs and a box fan for white noise. Use them and you'll sleep great if you're a light sleeper like me. The couch + coffee table made this the perfect place for my solo trip to bike the Discovery Trail. I was able to watch shows and do my various yarn crafts in comfort. I will book it again. It was the perfect size cottage for one, and would be cozy for two, as long as the second person didn't also have craft projects. "

"The location is kind of funky. Its away from town on the point of the bay but getting into it you go through the UHaul yard. There is no view of the water as there is a big berm of wild berry bushes. The walking path is nice for a quick stroll. There are no restaurants within walking distance. Can walk to the trolley but it only runs until 4-5 p.m. if it isn't raining. They only service room if given 24 hour notice. Hot breakfast is ok, but same everyday. "

"Very unique property. Old historic building in the middle of downtown Astoria. Cool lobby decorated with old vinyl records. This is a European style hotel with lots of character. The rooms do not have modern appliances like TV's, microwaves, refrigerators or bathrooms. Instead, there are shared bathrooms and a community kitchen where you can cook and store your food (there are sinks in the rooms). Tons of restaurants within walking distance including breweries and food trucks.There is no elevator (not handicap friendly) and there is no parking lot. If you are okay with that, you will love this place. Definitely worth the low price."
