« I stayed at 5 different accommodations during my visit to Japan, and Ryokan Plum was by far my favourite - it was a shame that I could only stay for one night! I stayed in the traditional tatami room, which exceeded all of my expectations. It was beautiful! The host (I forget her name) who greeted me upon my arrival was very kind and welcoming. I would highly recommend Ryokan Plum to anyone visiting the Hakone/Odawara area. »

« La gare ne peut pas être plus près, très pratique. Le onsen de l’hôtel s’est avéré une belle expérience. Avec son maximum de 6 personnes à la fois , cela rend l’expérience intimiste et relaxante. Nous avons grandement apprécié le petit déjeuner varié et en abondance. L’établissement offre pour le soir un dîner à la carte délicieux. Peu de choix mais tout de même une belle expérience . »

« L’hostel est située à 2 minutes à pied seulement de la gare de Gora! Le personnel est très accueillant et friendly. Vous pouvez même jouer de la guitare dans le salon et regarder la télévision. Tout est propre. Le wifi ne se rendait malheureusement pas jusqu’à ma chambre, car elle était située vraiment à l’extrémité du bâtiment. Attention au dos, car vous dormez sur un futon japonais (c’est comme dormir à même le sol, donc pas très confortable). Pour le reste, tout était bien! »

The host left a very helpful instructional booklet describing how to use all of the amenities, and even instructions on how to best prepare the food.
