"We had a really relaxing stay here. For the price we paid, the food and service were exceptional. There were two private onsens that can be reserved, each with its own charm. "Great new hotel in Takayama, very walkable from the Takayama train station. The rooms were very clean and the staff were among the friendliest to english speaking guests we have ever encountered in Japan. The publc bath has seperate traditional areas and a clothed mixed area, again very clean and amazing view from the top floor. Other reviews mention the sensor light being an issue in the room but it only goes off if you are standing at the front door to exit the room, was never able to set it off going to the restroom."
