We loved this Ryokan! Very cute Japanese style rooms, we stayed in one with a private bath and it was spacious. Great location, walking distance to everything. It’s a traditional ryokan that feels straight out of the 70s with gorgeous furniture and rotary phones. The rooms are a good size with comfy mattresses. The location is good, only a short distance from the train station. The onsens are great and often empty so you get them to yourself. The floor boards are a little squeaky and place is far from new but this place was perfect for us, the onsen was nice (male separated from female). The rooms were traditional with a lovely seating area and there was tea and croissants. The Onsen was lovely! The shower/bathroom in the room had questionable water pressure and there was definite air in the lines causing it to blast out or be inconsistent. The rooms are a bit dated (rotary phones! Ha!), but the location was great and overall it was a positive experience.
