"Overall it was a nice stay. Just a couple things that bothers us. 1st, when we checked in we were told the original room we booked (king room) was not available” “we had a lot of check ins yesterday” they gave our room away. And offered us a “grab to go” breakfast which absolutely sucked. 2nd. On the day of check out. We only had a $20 dollar bill and my husband went down to the bar/breakfast area “can we get change please” then very rudely “we don’t do that” they wanted us to buy something and wouldn’t give us change. So the poor maid did not get her tip due to your staff."

"My family and I have stayed at this hotel at least twice a year for the past five years, and until now, we’ve never had any major issues. Unfortunately, this visit was a completely different experience. When we arrived, the front desk employee appeared to be watching videos on their phone and didn’t acknowledge us until I asked for assistance. Once we got to our room, it looked as though it hadn’t been properly cleaned. The toilet seat was broken and barely attached to the toilet, and there was a strong unpleasant odor throughout our stay. At the end of our visit, while packing up our belongings, we discovered empty pill bottles underneath a chair, which appeared to be the source of the smell. This raised serious concerns about the cleanliness and inspection of the room before guests arrive. I attempted to speak with management several times during our stay, but each time I was told the owner was unavailable because they were dealing with the police. The hotel advertises an on-site restaurant and fitness center, but both were closed for the entire duration of our stay. These amenities were part of the reason we chose this hotel, so it was disappointing to find them unavailable. After years of positive experiences, this stay was extremely disappointing. Between the poor customer service, lack of cleanliness, broken fixtures, and unavailable amenities, this will unfortunately be our last stay at this hotel."

"When we entered our room, I noticed that there wasn't a lamp on the desk near the phone and the room was dark. We normally use that area to take our medication and insulin. The bottom of the bathroom door was chipped badly and there was a big stain on the floor by the chest of drawers. There wasn't a top for the ice bucket and there were missing shelves in the refrigerator, and although we tried many times, the television would not turn off. Housekeeping did not clean our room until our fourth day there. I stopped at the front desk and asked if someone could clean our room that day and it was done when we came back to our room. We had stayed at the Fairfield before and have recommended it to family and friends. I realize things can't be perfect all the time, but I expected more than we got from the Fairfield. P.S. I took pictures, if needed."
