« We had such a wonderful time staying at the Hackensack House. Jill and Jim were wonderful to work with and very prompt to our needs. Our family time was greatly enjoyed because the house had everything and was within walking distance to the cozy downtown and great fishing. »

We loved the 3 levels as that allowed everyone to have space if they needed for quiet time. The group voted to start making this an Annual trip...and we hope to add a few more next year. « Our family has been doing a winter vacation in the Brainerd Lakes area for over 12 years. This rental did not disappoint in any way. We have grandkids ranging in ages from 6 - 14 and our adults kids too. There was enough room for everyone to spend time together or find a quiet spot to themselves! « If you are looking for a place to connect with nature - this is it! We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Easy access to the bike trail (across road) and we made our way to Zorbas for a picnic lunch and even a few drinks for grandma and Grandpa. Dock and water toys were wonderful would have enjoyed even more with some chairs. Only unexpected part of the property was the trolley to the water but definitely appreciated it as it was the only option to get to the dock. Michael was super to work with...

« We had a great time and loved the location of this rental. We were visiting the area for ice fishing. Plenty of room for the 6 of us and our 2 dogs. Lots of linens, blankets, games, well stocked kitchen and bathroom items. We were very comfortable here. »
