"We enjoyed our weeklong stay at Sandy Bottom Cove. This house had plenty of room for our crew to spread out (5 adults and 3 kids). We spent indoor time mostly on the main floor. We enjoyed the kitchen table set-up with windows all around – it was baby dear season. The kids enjoyed seeing the rabbits, squirrels & watching the fish. A flock of geese visited one day. We ate in most days and found the kitchen well-appointed.The quiet cove was great for swimming. All enjoyed the dock, especially the kayak and paddleboards. We rented a pontoon boat one day; it was terrific to be able to dock it “at home”. The pool was a delightful bonus for the whole water loving crew. We had a great week. This spot is worth a return visit."
"Our family had an amazing stay at Covepoint! The home was beautifully decorated and provided all the comforts of home. There was space and activities for all ages to enjoy! The covered dock was amazing and where we spent most of our time relaxing while the kids used the water slide and swam in the lake. We will definitely be back! "

"3 generations, 12 of us all told, descended on Magnolia Cove in July 2025, and we shared a brilliant week! From the home to the hot tub to the pool to the lake (with the paddleboard, kayak, and a rented pontoon boat), our options were manifold and delightful. We shall return to SML, and to this property if we can book it!"
"We drove in from Virginia and Delaware for a week vacation. None of us had been to SML before. We rented a pontoon boat, chartered a 1/2 day fishing trip, played golf, floated in the lake, went to the community’s 4th celebration at Parkview Marina, toured D-Day and Booker T Washington memorials and enjoyed great family time together. House was in a great location and beautifully decorated and clean. Would definitely consider renting again. "

"Our family of 5 enjoyed this home. Great location, plenty of room for us, and a well maintained home. We brought our boat and took it to coffee, dinner, ice cream, etc. Swam and fished all day from the dock. Thank you!"

"This home was perfect for our group, four adults and two kids. The no wake cove was great for swimming and fishing. We caught lots of cats and carp off the bank, plenty of brim and a good size large mouth bass. The home was comfortable and had everything we needed. We would definitely stay here again."

"This home was perfect for our family vacation including five adults and four kids. The layout is great, including three bedrooms with king beds and a fourth bedroom with a pair of bunk beds. Though this room is small and best suited for children rather than teens, having it and a separate living room downstairs gave the kids Their own separate area. The location mid-Lake is close to everything. At check-in, the home was clean, beds were made, linens were provided and distributed, and there was a starter kit including dishwasher soap and laundry detergent – all very nice touches! When we had a problem with the Wi-Fi due to a storm, Alexander, the local contact person, was extremely helpful, attentive and courteous! We would definitely recommend this Home!"
