"We had an amazing stay at this cabin at SML. The private dock was a huge bonus. We spent so much time swimming and relaxing on the deck. Will definitely be returning!"
"The house and property were very nice; comfortable, clean and definitely secluded and enjoyable. We enjoyed the peace and quiet, privacy and all of the wonderful deer that come around the property was awesome. We even bought extra food just for the deer and were able to get so close to them. The owner was very attentive to issues and quick to help. The downsides we encountered: the grill wasn’t anything we would use and needs to be replaced. We found the Leesville Lake is not Sea Doo friendly, at least the time of year we were here (and seems it would be difficult to maneuver any boats with the debris that moves with the intake/output from the dams). We didn’t read the description well enough to see the house was as far from the lake as it was. It was nice that we were close enough to Smith Mountain Lake boat ramps-this was a plus. Overall-this is definitely a place that was truly enjoyable and we would even return again to this beautiful area!"

"This place was amazing! We truly enjoyed our stay at the lodge. The pool was great and we were able to go fishing at the lake too! The hike is tough for older people, but we loved it! It made us feel right at home. You cant forget the million dollar view of the lake, the mountains and the sunset! We hope to go again next year. Thanks Terry"
