The property was kept clean and restocked at all times. The heating system was great, even during one of the coldest days in Korea. There are 3 trains nearby this hotel, and had many restaurants and convenient to-go places nearby. I stayed at Lavilla Hotel during my solo trip for 17 nights. Clean hotel, the room was perfect with a good view and there were no problems during my stay. The staff was very helpful and kind! They helped me with directions, recommendations and ordered a taxi to the airport. The owner is super friendly and speaks English very well, he made my stay at Lavilla very comfortable. I will definitely be back at this hotel again in the future! Lavilla Hotel is located in a very quiet area with nearby train stations just a few minutes away, convenience stores open all night, small restaurants and markets. This hotel is perfect if you want to see another side of Seoul. Unfortunately there is no washing machine at the hotel, but just a few walking minutes away there is a self laundry room called "Wash Friends" on Naver map. I found the one-night rate to be quite reasonable, and the hotel's accessibility from two nearby metro stations made getting around a breeze. The rooms were incredibly spacious, the bathroom facilities were kept impeccably clean, and the owner's hospitality truly stood out. Additionally, the convenience of having nearby convenience stores and supermarkets added to the overall convenience of the stay. The picture window view was the only accurate thing from the listing. The man at the desk was nice checking in and the other one was nice. Chair was broken in room, air condition was making so much noice it was ready to break, the automated toilet control was broken and dirty looking (only flushed), cover on couch looked dirty, and bed was super hard. Frig didn’t work. The man came to check it and said that it would get cold. Never did and food and milk spoiled by morning. The room and the bathroom are large, just like the pictures. Late October very cold, we did not have a heater. We asked the front desk our last night. He ran the heater for 30 minutes. But later night it was very cold. The bed is very firm. Die Gegend war auch in Ordnung. Busstationen und U-Bahnen waren immer in der Nähe ca. 10 Minuten zu Fuß. Allerdings mangelte es an Sauberkeit. Dall' esterno si presenta in buono stato, peccato all' interno la situazione cambia. Abbiamo trovato le camere in grossa necessità di manutenzione... Il che è un gran peccato visto che il concept dell' hotel e delle stanze è molto carino. Inoltre al nostro arrivo abbiamo trovato le federe dei cuscini e gli asciugamani sporchi (alcuni con macchie di sangue altri con macchie rosse simil rossetto), abbiamo fatto notare il tutto alla signorina alla reception che ha prontamente provveduto a farceli sostituire. Ciò ha risolto la questione federe, peccato solo che invece che anche gli asciugamani nuovi non fossero a nostra opinione abbastanza puliti... Abbiamo risolto comprandocene di nostri presso il centro commerciale li vicino.
