Would definitely recommend for anyone that isn’t adverse to climbing long stairways and steep sidewalks - but that’s the basic nature of CT anyway. The only negative was the inability to check in a little early because we arrived in a downpour. But otherwise a great home base from which to enjoy the charm...

The staff was not helpful, as they shared the instructions on whatsapp and didnt answer our calls upon check in. The parking at Riomaggiore is an issue, we had to wait 2 hours in the queu for an empty spot. If you are visiting with your car, consider staying in a calmer area."

The bed was comfy and the space was nice for us Americans that are used to bigger spaces. 😅 Would stay here again if we come back to Italy. They were also doing maintenance upkeep on the building while we were there. It was nice to see them keep up with a historic building like this one."
