"Great bed and breakfast. Feels like you’re walking into the past with all the historical furniture but with all the modern convenience. Breakfast was phenomenal as other comments have stated. All day coffee and afternoon refreshments were a plus after getting back from some long hikes. The host was very friendly and accommodating. We would definitely come back. "This is an awesome B&B in a great location, away from all the main crowds of Bar Harbor, but close enough you can walk to everything. The hosts are great and helpful with suggestions of fun things to do and places to eat. I can see why it is always booked out and hard to get a room here. "Myself and my family stayed at this property for a week. Had a few bumps when we first got there but the property manager was absolutely amazing. Responded immediately and got everything straightened out. The property is beautiful whether you are outside or looking out from inside. Was further than I thought from Acadia but we managed. "We loved this house! Very clean and spacious. The pool is huge and was a big hit with our kids! The house came stocked with all the essentials in the kitchen and bathroom (like coffee filters, oil, salt, sugar, shampoo, conditioner, etc) which was perfect on arrival day. Not easily walkable to town
"The location of this hotel is perfect if you are looking for a view of a bay surrounded by greenery. It is not if bar harbor main street is your goal. I believe there is a shuttle but for us thankfully it was off season. The resort is beautifully kept, clean ,great restaurant on site and easy to drive to Acadia. We totally enjoyed our stay just sitting in chairs on the property or watching nature from our balcony. We also made the mandatory drive thru Acadia and into town with ease. We stayed in early june. . "
