Great Stay at the Coach Stop Inn

Excellent 2 day stay in Bar Harbor at the historic 1804 Coach Stop Inn. The owners are amazing and attend to every detail. The room was comfortable, quiet, and spacious. The breakfast was multi course, creative and delicious ideal for foodies. Grateful to the innkeepers for their hospitality for our nice time there.

The Coach Stop Inn is no owned and run by Amanda and Derek. They are amazing and leave no detail unturned. The breakfast room is a friendly gathering place, as is the living room. The breakfasts were amazingly good! Acadia National Park is close by. Highly recommend!!!

Amazing Bar Harbor Stay

This is an amazing B&B - very commutative owners (who gave us wonderful food recommendations), the breakfast was amazing, the rooms were clean with great amenities and when we checked in there was a little baked treat for us. We will definitely stay here again - it was perfect for a little romantic getaway.

It was a pleasure staying at this B&B. The room was excellent. Clean, all the comforts. Welcome water and chocolates awaited us together with a personal note on the front door. The breakfasts were amazing, changing every day and more than enough. Would highly recommend this B&B.

This stay was so unexpectedly beautiful and fun. The building had lovely history and amazing updates. The breakfasts were phenomenal!! It was conveniently located just outside the hustle and bustle of Bar Harbor but so close to Acadia.

Love this bed and breakfast! It is quiet, private,charming and so clean. There is a creative delicious breakfast made and served by the owners every day, who are 2 very kind people! it has been a great experience for 3 visits now, and I look forward to more:)

Excellent stay! The Innkeepers were very friendly and gave good recommendations on to do‘s! The breakfast was outstanding! Room was big, very comfortable and very clean! Park entrance close and easy to reach, good restaurants easy to reach and close!!! Next time in Bar Harbor we will definitevly stay in the Coach Stop Inn again!!!

This is my second stay and if possible there will be more in the future! Jim and Anna provide you with everything and more! They think of all the little things you probably forgot! The breakfasts are amazing and I got excited each morning to see what wonderful meal they were providing!

This is a great small and clean B&B. Jim and Anna were very good hosts and the breakfasts were delicious! The room and bathroom had everything we needed. Homemade cookies or bars available daily with coffee or tea were an added treat. The only slight negative is that it’s located along a main road so you hear traffic noise, but it was quiet when sleeping, so not an issue for us.

The perfect Bar Harbor getaway

Jim and Anna are wonderful, thoughtful hosts - and chefs! Breakfast was divine, and a new creative menu every morning. We’re still raving about their watermelon salad and baked blackberry strata! The Inn is just 5-6 miles from downtown, and on a street laden with food options too so you’re never too far from fulfilling your lobster roll cravings. Great sized room (we stayed at Somes Sound) with a comfy loveseat and TV that lets you sign in to Disney, Hulu, Netflix, YouTube, etc. for cozy nights in. Book here, you won’t be disappointed! Thanks again Jim and Anna.

Absolutely wonderful

The owners made us feel very welcome. The rooms beside the house were almost like separate cottages with a lot of privacy. We wish it had been warmer so we could sit out on the porch. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was fantastic. Best of all though, were the gourmet style breakfasts with a lot of variety and imagination to put it together. We had 3 breakfast and all were different. It was a delightful stay and highly recommended

Anna and Jim were the Best hosts ever , this B&B was absolutely phenomenal. Couldn’t ask for any better breakfast each morning, the food was absolutely delicious. Only about 7 miles to Bar Harbor , Acadia National Park and Cadillac Mountain makes this place even better. Away from the crowds but close enough for whatever you wanted to go do . Jim and Anna were so friendly , they make all guests feel very special we would love to stay here again in the future . Highly recommend this place ♥️ The Turners from Ohio

I went by this place 5 years ago on another trip and said to myself cool, I’m staying there the next time. I was not disappointed! The breakfast’s were so unique, delicious and Anna serviced them up hot with a smile. Oh people say it’s too far from town, soooo! You just drive down to the visitor center at Hull’s Cove pay to park, it’s good for a week, and take the Island Explorer bus to downtown or other stops. I definitely will stay at Coach Stop Inn again wonderful experience!

This is a lovely bed and breakfast. The rooms are spacious, and the breakfasts were fantastic. The owners are very nice, and they were willing to do almost anything to ensure their guests felt taken care of. I would love to return sometime and would highly recommend this B&B.
