3/5 - Okay
Pack insect repellent as there are small fleas or mosquitoes in the outdoor areas. Not a problem in the room. Be sure to ask for snorkeling equipment to enjoy the waters in the nearby beaches. The owners may wish to invest in some plastic poolside glasses as it felt a little dangerous in bare feet. It might be wise to contact the resort directly to be very clear about what the amenities of each specific room includes. The photos suggested access to a private pool but this was not the case and instead we paid for a rubber inflatable hot tub which we did not get into because it did not appear appealing or clean at all. No privacy on shared patio spaces immediately in front of each suite was at times a bit awkward. Finally, I would say that we were a bit surprised that the owner of the resort, who sat in the bar or at the restaurant tables showed no interest in communicating with us as her patrons and on at least one occasion sat at a dining table with her dog on her lap and it’s paws on the table surface where customers would be eating later.
