"This is a great location to get to the Ferry…the Breakfast is wonderful. Most of the Staff is very good. The bedroom and all is clean and good. I had a problem with my bed it seems like there are wires out and when I got up I got hurt in my head from the lower bed… this was my third night there and this is the first time it happens… they need to check on this… I also had a problem with a Staff Member… sometime in the future I will let them know… other than that is very good"
"First of all the staff was fantastic. Very patient and accommodating. Great hotel in a great location. Quiet as well as the loud music from the disco is no more. Disco was closed and appeared permanent. Lots of nice restaurants in and around the hotel. "
"Convenient location on a major street 10 minutes from cruise port, restaurants & market place. Area is a little rundown. The restaurant, pool & spa looked ok but we didn't use any. Friendly & helpful staff. "
"Tucked down a suburban alleyway between a petrol station and a supermarket, Tea Tahiti is an unpretentious guesthouse, but it has everything you need – walking distance from the port and city centre; friendly, helpful staff; simply decorated rooms with air conditioning, comfortable beds, ensuite bathroom, fridge, microwave, kettle and utensils; outdoor furniture and a swimming pool; onsite car hire and transfers. Our airport transfer for a 4am flight was no problem and reasonably priced. On the downside, the view is of neighbouring buildings and the car yard, reception has limited hours, and the gardens are not very well established. But with the occasional dogs barking, geckos chirping, the rooster crowing and the chickens pecking round our feet as we sat by the pool, it felt like an authentic slice of Tahitian life."
