Bring the kids to Apple Hill just 3 miles up the road. Year round family friendly activities at local farms and orchards. This is also a great stop on your way to the slopes in Tahoe. Super clean and came with nice little toiletries. Kitchen came with all pots and pans and even some spices. Knives were dull and scary to use. The HVAC units took a little while to learn but worked just fine. Parking situation is right below the unit and convenient. In a quiet neighborhood. Nice touch on the welcome basket. Check in was not a good experience as the code was other than we had been told and a cleaning lady had to let us in. It took quite a while to find out what the actual code was.Check in is way too late...4 o'clock. No hotel or VRBO should expect you to wait until the day is almost over before checking in. It should be 3 o'clock and no later. Towels were put up wet in the linen closet, so I had to put them in the dryer, which is no big deal...just odd.The bed and linens were not of high quality but we slept okay. Bath had stick on plastic hooks for towels...no towel bars or places to hang hand towels anywhere. Just overall, not the best experience. ##### Patsy H.
