Very poor value for money New Year’s Eve the bar was shut by 10.30 We had to upgrade the room on arrival the room was small and dark cost use a further 400 per night , and old and worn out in general, picturesque grounds in photos carried our initial booking, wall paper in bathroom old and pealing , minimal storage for hanging , 600mm rail for two people for 10 nights hotel had to go out and buy a rolling rail. More like a 3 star. Double charge for all the food and drinks on site.

Where do I start?! My partner and I stayed here last week to celebrate a birthday. Our flight was changed at the last minute and we arrived around 12:15p. I had expected to be charged for checking in early, but was greeted with the exact opposite of what I expected. We were not charged, and immediately ushered to a beautiful room on the perfectly manicured grounds, prosecco in hand. I have absolutely nothing bad to say about our 5 day/4 night stay. It exceeded my expectations for the perfect warm vacation away from NYC. In the past, I've stayed at The Ace, but the weekend crowd is messy, so a friend recommended The Colony. While the weekends are of course more crowded and a bit louder, we never felt like we had to avoid the pool area. To add, the room service, pool side service and food and drink are really exceptional. My only quam is that there is not a gym but with the great location, you can get in steps by trucking it to Melvyn's and back :)

Loved the adults-only aspect. Even though we have kids, it was nice alternative to get away with adults and not being splashed in the pool, hear crying babies etc. it was a really nice oasis in Palm Springs. It reminds me of the Beverly Hills hotel
