The lobby is nicely decorated with a lot of convenient communal seating areas. The desk in the room was very narrow with only one chair; a second would have been helpful. The hallways and room were somewhat musty smelling but pretty clean looking. The window awkwardly looked out to windows in a building across the way. Everyone at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. I was disappointed that they were out of coffee when I went into the communal kitchen to get some in the morning.

This is a small, but not very boutique-y hotel, on a busy, but not very fancy street. I'd describe it as a decent two-star hotel, or a limited three-star hotel. My room was small-ish, with a narrow wardrobe instead of a closet, a wall AC, a somewhat dingy rug, and limited window light. But it was clean and reasonably well-appointed, and the bed and linens were comfortable and not cheap-feeling. The desk felt understaffed; but the staff members were pleasant and helpful. Self-serve garage parking was nice, but the lot was full at 11pm. Google streetview will give you a sense of the neighborhood -- basic LA strip malls and low-rise apartment block. All in all, this property is nothing to avoid, but nothing to write home about, either. A Day's Inn, but without the franchise chain vibe (for better or worse).

Overall, Found was fine. The room was large and clean. The TV choices are very limited. Our room was near some machinery that ran all night, but keeping the bathroom door closed help mute the sound. I am not a fan of their key-less rooms.

Ótimo quarto, hotel limpo, novo e muito cheiroso, camas ótimas, pessoal super educado e atencioso, nota 9, único problema que o estacionamento é limitado, e se vc chega tarde não tem mais vaga e vc tem que parar na rua, e acordar às 8:00 para remover o carro da rua, pois é proibido estacionar depois das 8:00am.

Saw homeless people wandering around in carts. Noisy as it is on the road that gets plenty of traffic. Has a common kitchen with refrigerator and free coffee vending machine.

The property location is close to a lot of places that people from out of town might want to visit. The unfortunate part is that California has a horrible homeless problem, and there was a tent city a couple of blocks from the hotel. But that is the fault of the city and state, not the hotel. The room was clean, and while I had read reviews saying it was loud, that was not my experience at all. The hotel is located in the city, so you might hear sirens here and there, but were ear plugs were provided by the hotel, and the sign in my room also explained that they also provided a sound machine. However, there was no sound machine in my room. Then again, it wasn’t loud, so I didn’t need it.

Good location, close to the beaches, Universal Studios, Hollywood sign etc. Starbucks across the road. Guest laundry available. Nice quiet stay. Would stay again.
