"place okay. Bit early in season. Everything at the accommodation closed at 7pm. Didn’t open again until breakfast at 0730am. Nowhere else to hang as main reception area closed at 1930so confined to pokey room or outside in cold. We were offered a bigger better room at an extra 20e a night on check in which came over as ours was bit rubbish! -which it was ! It was a 15 min drive to Avola on a dodgy road. "Beautiful and peaceful property. A dream. We did not want to leave. The pool area and gardens are gorgeous and so relaxing that we decided to take a break from visiting and simply enjoy the pool. "The staff were incredibly warm, friendly and very helpful (including helping to carry luggage up the stairs!), b/c there is no lift. We were very disappointed that there was no simple coffee maker in the rooms to start our day (especially considering the caliber of the hotel) - this is considered a very basic standard these days even in 2 star hotels. In room #205, the drain in the shower was clogged and water backed up while showering. The toilet seat was also loose or broken and tilted one way or another when sat on. The glass doors on the showers are also very awkward to open and get in and out of the shower. That said, the hotel is very conveniently located to many sites and the historic center, as well as near the sea. "

This time the room was underneath the restaurant and was super loud until well after 11 PM. But overall, it’s a lovely property and very well located."

The property was wonderful one of our favorite places to stay during our three weeks of travel around Italy in Sicily Martina, who first greeted this was so thoughtful caring suggested places to go for history also places to eat, even where to get our laundry done she has an excellent Host and made the day id. I would stay here again in a heartbeat."
