The location is amazing, right on the beachfront near everything, and the staff go above and beyond. We weren't the easiest guests im sure, we had many small, but persistent requests and the staff were consistently friendly, and more than happy to meet our requests with grace and enthusiasm. Our stay in Ortigia was enhanced by the staff at the Dorus Mariae Albergo. I can't comment on breakfast, as we opted to have brunch at a nearby Bistro, but this is in no way a comment on the breakfasts at the hotel; this is simply how we like to holiday. Overall, a wonderful experience here, with wonderful staff in an absolutely beautiful location."
