FROM THE SEA The house Aurora has a distance from the sea of ​​100 m and is located in the seaside resort of Marzamemi, precisely Reitano area between the famous beach of San Lorenzo and the beach of the town where, in both places, you can enjoy a magnificent crystal clear sea, with the opportunity to choose among pebbles, cliffs and sand beaches, this last one is excellent for a family environment, as it has a free beach or equipped with umbrellas, deckchairs and bars. Inside the villa there is a comfortable garden with veranda, where you can enjoy wonderful meals with sea view. Furthermore, there is enough space for a maximum of 3-4 parking spaces. While inside the house you will find at the entrance the kitchen with table and chairs, sofa, television and air conditioning. There are also two rooms, one with a double bed, the other with a bunk bed and a single bed. House equipped with bathroom with indoor and outdoor shower, including washing machine. The distance between the house and the ancient fishing village of Marzamemi is minimal, in fact, you can drive in a few minutes, or on foot with a relaxing walk on the beach. The small fishing village rises and develops entirely on the sea, located a few kilometers from Pachino to the baroque Noto. Once in Marzamemi, the beauty of Piazza Regina Margherita will leave you breathless, a place where you can spend pleasant evenings with outdoor music, live shows, seafood restaurants, pizzerias and pubs. The two natural harbors are the setting for the village: the pit and the balata, the latter being the most characteristic due to its square shape, also the scene of events that animate the summer of Marzamemi. The whole village is pedestrian and you can leave the car in the convenient parking lots. Here in the evening the atmosphere becomes truly magical, not for nothing has been chosen as the location of several movies and also, in the last week of July, organize the international film festival, with various famous guests. The villa is located in a strategic place for a tour of eastern Sicily, in fact it is about 50 km from Ragusa ibla, 40 km from modica (famous city for chocolate), 20 km from ancient Noto (famous for its baroque and for the infiorata celebrated in May), 25 km from Avola, where you can visit the beautiful nature reserve of Cavagrande, as well as a few minutes drive, the oasis of vendicari and the beach of calamosche. In Portopalo instead you can enjoy the characteristic beach of carratois, but also the stacks of Carige, 10 minutes by car. As for supermarkets, shops, pharmacies, medical guards etc. The closest ones you will find them in the country of pachino. Mariella is the perfect host: kind, welcoming, relaxed and very helpful. She was always at the end of a WhatsApp msg if you needed her. Be aware though that Mariella and her husband don’t speak English. But if you don’t know any Italian like me, it’s easy enough to use translation sites/apps as other guests have. The viletta is very comfortable and actually more spacious inside than the photos implied. Yes, it’s simple like others said, but I found everything I needed in the kitchen, the bedrooms and bathroom. It was very clean, and Mariella provided plenty of towels, extra blankets, pillows etc. The outside spaces are wonderful with gorgeous views of the sea, coast and Marzamemi in the distance. When I was there, few neighbours were in residence, and it was beautifully tranquil and quiet, day and night. Rock coves and a glorious sandy beach are 2min walk outside your front door, while Marzamemi is easily reached on foot in 10-15min along said beach, a lovely village with great choices of cafes and ristoranti. Supermarkets, petro stations etc 10min down the road by car in Pachino. You get the idea, I truly can’t fault anything! La casa è poco fuori Marzameni,borgo stupendo ma piu caotico. Resta in una zona residenziale,tranquilla e il mare è sotto casa! Mare con spiaggia di sabbia libera o attrezzata ma noi preferivamo di gran lunga la parte più selvaggia,con rocce e un mare meraviglioso! Acque cristalline,pochissima gente,perfetta per fare snorkelling o noleggiare nella spiaggia vicina di S.Lorenzo canoa o pedalò per scoprire ogni angolo. La casa è ben tenuta,pulita,adatta a chi come noi ha 2 cagnolini,fornita di ogni comodità, dalla doccia esterna al barbecue,lavatrice, lenzuola,phon, teli bagno,aria condizionata,stoviglie. Rechts und links gibt es Nachbarn. Der bewirtschaftete Strand ist nur wenige Meter entfernt, war aber Anfang Juni noch nicht in Betrieb. Die Verständigung mit der freundlichen Vermieterin Mariella war dank translater (sie spricht nur italienisch) kein Problem. Das Haus hat alles notwendige und ist sehr sauber. WLAN gibt es immer noch nicht, war für uns kein Minuspunkt. Die Terrasse ist groß und auch sonnengeschützt. Wir danken für 4 erholsame Urlaubstage auf unserer Rundreise. ##### Renate K. Il mare, a due passi, sia scogli che sabbia, è molto bello e consente di non prendere continuamente l'automobile per spostarsi. Nei dintorni però è comunque facilmente raggiungibile Vendicari, Portopalo e, con qualche km in più, la Sicilia barocca. Nei dintorni, a Pachino, sono presenti tutti i servizi (supermercato, pescheria, panifici..). Molto piacevole cenare vista mare e dimenticare lo stress dell'inverno. ##### Elena B. Grande terrasse vue sur la mer, au soleil le matin, parfait pour prendre le petit déjeuner en écoutant le bruit des vagues. Accès à la plage sur 100 mètres. Supermarché à 5 mn, et super boulangerie à Marzamemi, qui est un village de pêcheur charmant, avec pleins de restos sympas, mais nous n'avons pu en profiter à cause du vent et de la fraicheur du soir. Bien situé moyennant moins d'1h de voiture, il nous a permis de visiter les villes baroques des alentours. Les propriétaires sont très gentils et à l'écoute. I 2 ampi spazi esterni, oltre che offrire il posto auto, danno anche la possibilità di mangiare fuori, sul restro con una bella vista mare. Per fare la spesa, a soli 2 minuti di auto, c'è il centro di Marzamemi, oppure a 2 km Pachino.. Per chi cerca relax, è la soluzione migliore. Una stupenda vista mare, due belle verande e un comodo cortile per posto auto (comodamente 2-3 auto). I proprietari sono due persone molto gentili e attenti alle esigenze degli ospiti. La signora Mariella in particolare ha sempre cercato di accertarsi che andasse tutto bene durante il nostro soggiorno, tenendoci in contatto... Noi abbiamo soggiornato nelle prime due settimane di luglio (2019), x cui la spiaggia adiacente non era ancora ben organizzata. Ma ugualmente accessibile con un po di adattamento. Aug 15, 2018 #### Relax e pace a due passi da ogni attrazione La bellissima casetta gialla sul mare di Mariella è la piccola oasi di pace che tutti sognano. Non le manca nulla, è confortevole e carina. La parte più bella della casa è sicuramente il terrazzino dove abbiamo trascorso piacevoli tramonti vista mare. Molto comoda anche la doccia esterna. La sera si dorme benissimo, grazie al ventilatore e all’aria condizionata perfettamente funzionanti. La location è strategica per chi ha l’auto e può raggiungere in breve tempo qualsiasi destinazione della Val di Noto. Mariella è molto affabile e cordiale ed è facile comunicare telefonicamente con lei per qualsiasi esigenza. Sicuramente tornerò con piacere! ##### Giada A. Città splendide e mare bello Abbiamo passato sei giorni a Marzamemi e siamo stati davvero bene. Ragusa e Noto sono il top. Belle anche Modica e Siracusa. La casa era pulita e attrezzata a pochissimi passi da una spiaggia di rocce tranquilla rispetto alla vicina chiassosa di sabbia. Unica pecca il gran caldo dentro l’appartamento anche con l’aria condizionata ##### Enrico P.
