"The hotel had a great breakfast, prime location to the park loop and Cadillac Mountain. Has a great bus service to town and the pools are amazing. Rooms were roomy and we had an amazing view from our room. "

Walk to Acadia! Maine
Farmhouse 2025: 3 night min May-Labor Day
10/10 Excellent
"We had a lovely stay at this charming vintage farmhouse located close to Acadia National Park, Bar Harbor, and Northeast Harbor. The location was ideal for exploring the area, and the peaceful surroundings made for a relaxing home base. The home was clean overall, and the kitchen was well-equipped with appliances, making meal prep easy. We especially appreciated the beautiful flowers outside — a lovely touch that made the place feel welcoming. The upstairs bedrooms did get a bit warm during the day, but the provided fans made it comfortable enough for sleeping. The beds were decent, and the pack ’n play with a mattress was perfect for our baby — a thoughtful addition that made traveling with a little one much easier. If you enjoy a vintage, cozy atmosphere with easy access to Acadia and nearby towns, this farmhouse is a great choice."

"The house was in a great location for getting around to everything we wanted to see and do in Acadia. It was very clean and neat and had lots of basics needed for a stay. The owners were very responsive in communicating and answering any questions. I would stay here again and recommend it to others. "
"Close to beautiful harbour. Took a boat ride with Sea Princess to Cranberry Island it was great! Some shopping on a little main street. Beautiful houses and views of water."
"Overall we had a very nice stay. Nice neighborhood, quick walk to Main Street, and enough space for all of us. There was one issue we encountered, but communication was great and it was sorted out quickly. "
Private Oceanfront access - Surrounded by Acadia National Park - Amazing Views!!

"We stayed at Stone Bluff cottage. Paul was a fantastic host from before we arrived through the end of the trip. He patiently answered lots questions about the place, as well as provided several suggestions for site seeing. When tiny housekeeping things came up, Paul responded right away! When I forgot a lock for our bikes, Paul loaned us one of his to save us the drive off the Island. The place was nice and meticulously clean. WiFi worked great. It’s noteworthy this place had all the little things, like zip lock bags, paper towels, real tissues (!!), a tide-to-go instant stain remover I didn’t know I needed until I actually did, a full length mirror, and skirt hangers. There is lots of storage so you can really unpack and settle in! There’s a beautiful view of the water right from the house, and it’s a 2 minute walk down the hill to sit at the dock on the water. The drive to Acadia was beautiful and reasonable -/ we mostly hiked and rode bikes there. Overall, the place was great!"

"What a perfect little spot to stay for two nights in the Acadia area. Loved the accommodations and communications from the host.Getting in and out was a breeze. Being above The Colonels was also a highlight getting to enjoy some of the best donuts ever. Would definitely recommend if you want to enjoy the quieter area of MDI. "
