The Ottoburg is one of the oldest buildings in Innsbruck. Even from the busy and varied streets of the Old Town, the Ottoburg stands out. Originally part of the Innsbruck Castle, Ottoburg was built in the late 15th century. Many historians say it is the oldest surviving building in the city, but whether this is correct or not is a matter of debate. Nevertheless, the building exudes charm and is the perfect location for the fine dining restaurant of the same name that has been here since 1745.
Bookings are essential at Ottoburg as it is an extremely popular restaurant. Four intimate dining rooms are decorated with carved wooden panels, gilded chandeliers and immaculate white linen.
