"I would expect there to be more frequent transport available to take guests between town and hotel. Only one an hour is not enough. I would expect coffee in the room and not have to go to lobby. The staff did not help much when it looked like a storm might strand us at the hotel, I had to do all the investigating - fortunately we were able to get a ferry. It’s not a hotel for anyone wanting to be anywhere than in their room. And in the bad weather we had on our stay it felt empty and lifeless...

"The Regatta Inn is within walking distance to anything you want to do. Rooms are small but you’re not there to hang out in your room all day. The price is way too much but it’s Nantucket so they can price high in the summer. Same room in the winter is $150 a night."

"We absolutely loved our stay at The Beachside! It is one of the coolest places we've ever stayed at - from the retro decor to the jazzy music, the place is a whole vibe. Rooms are intimate but very comfortable, especially the sheets and beds. Food was great in the lobby, as well as the selection of snacks in the rooms. The pool is quaint but perfect (and heated!). We didn't participate, but I loved how the hotel hosted activities like movies on the lawn for the kids, and they wore headphones to watch so it didn't inconvenience anyone. I'd say the only thing missing could be a shuttle to town or the beach in case it's raining, but if it's not, it's a perfect short walk over. I do love the location - close to the action but a little removed from the center, which makes it a peaceful retreat tucked away. Highly recommend this property, and will be back!"

"We had a wonderful stay at the Faraway in Nantucket. The property is beautiful, well maintained, and full of charm. The location couldn't be better—it's an easy walk to the local shops, restaurants, and the waterfront, making it simple to explore everything downtown Nantucket has to offer. The combination of a lovely property and a perfect location made for a fantastic stay. We would definitely return!"

"The White Elephant did not disappoint. We stayed in a two-bedroom residence, and it exceeded our expectations. The residence was beautifully appointed, comfortable, and just a short walk from downtown, making it the perfect location. The staff and management team were exceptional—friendly, attentive, and committed to making our stay enjoyable. We also loved the restaurant, which was outstanding for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and brunch. The nearby pool and cabanas were another highlight, and once again, the service from the staff was excellent. The only minor downside was the early morning noise from vendors working on the property, which occasionally interrupted the peaceful atmosphere. Aside from that, our stay was incredibly relaxing, and we would absolutely return. We highly recommend the White Elephant and look forward to staying there again."
