Comfortable hotel close to the beach
I went there with my elderly mother, and we were both happy with the decor and cleanliness of the room (good bathroom shower!), the accommodating and friendly staff, and the location on a small but pleasant beach. Though the pool was very small, the glass enclosure with retractable roof was appreciated at this time of year on cool and windy late afternoons—we could still enjoy the sun and not be pelted with blowing sand. The hot tub was especially enjoyable and therapeutic for my mother.

Nice hotel in great location
The hotel is very clean and the staff was great. We had a room with a courtyard view, which was really pleasant. The grounds of the hotel are so pretty.... and the hotel takes dogs, which is why we chose it to begin with. Our dog felt very comfortable there and we didn't feel like we got a worse room because we were travelling with a dog. Very pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness of our room!

Ok for short stay; 2nd floor walk up / no elevator
Clean room, comfortable bed; however, difficult to adjust room temp, and inadequate space in bathroom: must step to side when opening/closing bathroom door due to narrow clearance between door and toilet.

Very helpful staff
Staff is very helpful,we were looking for restaurant to order foods,and they helped us.also we were trying to figure out the transportation,we requested to get breskfast at 7 instead of the regular time at 8,left our luggage until late in the evening.. at all times they accommodated us.Thank you America's best value inn staff.you are the best.May God bless you.see you next year again (stayed there the 2nd time)

Cape Cod Wedding
`We were at Eastham for my nephew's wedding. Viking Shores is conveniently located to get to lower Cape attractions. The rooms we had were adequate; old mattresses bothered my family members but the bed was fine for me. They do not supply facial tissues as in most motels/hotels. Each room has a refrigerator; ours did not work. The breakfast is a typical continental=juice, coffee, tea, cereal, muffins, pastries, bagels, fruit. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, allowing us to check in early. The price is right for the location.
